STORY

3 destinies and the 7 years cycle ... seven years to change everything ! André was having lunch with his wife and children, Diego was unzipping his Wonderbra, Meira was watering her friend the plant, when they knew that nothing would ever be the same again...

Among the four destinies presented, there is, for example, that of the Swiss farmer and cheesemaker. This force of nature is overwhelmed by his debts, the administration that devours him and other worries. He is close to burn-out when he decides to escape from the mountains of Valais and Switzerland, without a passport. After a long journey he ends up in Asia, in the Gobi desert.

There, he was welcomed in a village of extremely poor nomads. Unable to help himself, he passed on his cheese-making skills to them, teaching them how to make hard cheeses. The villagers will sell them on the markets and the village will soon become very prosperous. It was at this time that he decided to leave for South America where he would repeat the same operation. Then came the turn of the Pyrenean mountains in France. During this time, all his family and the Swiss authorities try to find him...

BACKSTAGES

Based on authentic interviews, the Kbarré company takes you on a tender and offbeat exploration of the extraordinary lives of three ordinary heroes who set out to discover their destiny... in theater, music and song.

The members of the Kbarré Company, Vincent David, Laurence Iseli, Charlotte Reymondin, spent a year searching for extraordinary destinies. From Geneva to the mountains of Valais in Switzerland, they collected tons of stories, sometimes crazy, tragic, humorous or touching.

The Kbarré team chose four testimonies and asked Giacomo Ravicchio to come from Denmark to Lausanne to help them stage these incredible stories.

I composed the music and songs for the show, with the support of the SSA cultural fund for composers of music for the performing arts

Two musicians I love have accompanied me from a distance to perform my compositions: Sandro Friedrich from Zurich who plays more than 100 wind instruments from all over the world and, Nicolas Genest, composer and jazz trumpet player from Paris.
