music for children theatre
Soundtrack composed by Jerome Baur
45 minutes show, for 6-10 years old. - Copenhagen,
A little theatrical gem created by director Giacomo Ravicchio and produced by Randers Teater, Denmark.
A beautiful story inspired by a children's book that generations of Danish children know well, that of Palle, the little boy who dreamed of being alone in the world.
Palle is a little boy full of life. At night, he feels the terrible need to tell his mother all the miseries he had to go through during his day. But it is getting late and he is sleeping.
Before closing his eyes, his last thought is: "it would be so much better if I was alone in the world!
It seems that his wish will come true and he will have many adventures. In the end... being alone in the world, is that so good?
This puppet show was written in 2016 by Giacomo Ravicchio with the dramaturge and translator Bent Holm, based on a little children's book of only six pages, mythical for generations of Danes.
Together, they invented 45 minutes of pure magic, adventure, laughter and tenderness, with music composed by Jérôme Baur who signs a sensitive and dynamic soundtrack, mixing jazz, electro and world-music.
